Bring your pet out to Hanover Parks & Recreation Saturday, Dec. 19, and have its photo taken with Santa! This is part of a pets-centered holiday event being offered by Parks & Recreation and Animal Control. A $5 donation for each photo with Santa is requested; proceeds will go towards helping the animals at the pound.

Donations of food, treats and toys for the animals are also being accepted at the "Santa Paws Tree" on display in the foyer of the Parks & Recreation main office through Saturday.

The main office is located at 13017 Taylor Complex Lane between Ashland and Hanover Courthouse; office hours are 8:30-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. For more information call 365-4695.
